Birding--Arizona and the Southwest 12-19/12-26: He sees you when youre sleeping--He knows when youre awake! He knows if youve been bad or good, so be good for goodness sake! Yikes!! What a creepy song!--ok, ok, all in the spirit of Christmas and Santa, I suppose! But, watching our birds is one gift we never get enough of!! They are often comical, nearly always interesting, sometimes perplexing, entertaining and when you watch enough--even a bit predictable! So goes our theme as we move into the holidays--BIRD BEHAVIOR! This is learn it and love it week friends. Have you observed/photographed a bird activity or behavior that is somewhat predictable? Interesting? Unusual? Include the back story friends! Was knowledge of the behavior helpful in achieving your great shot? Ok, ok, this one is a bit more challenging so here is one to get you thinkin The wing-flap!
