Blessing for today: when I was at the Women of Joy conference in Louisville a few weeks ago, I signed up to support a little girl in Burkina Faso, Africa. All I knew about her was that this organization, that I had never heard of, said her family was very poor and needed help, and that her name is Zemina. Today I received information in the mail about Zemina and about the organization, Compassion International. The more I read, I more I liked. When I looked the organization up on the internet charity ratings sites, it was rated very highly for openness and transparency in their reporting of financials and percentage of funds actually going to serve the children they help support. SO... that was a big blessing, and I can rest in knowing that Zemina and I will be blessings to each other over the years!
