*Blinking open my eyes I look around the room and whimper not recognizing where I am right now. Calling out* Daddy *A strange lady comes into the room smiling* ::Ah your awake sweet pea. Do you know where you are?:: *Shaking my head* No, where my daddy? ::He is down the hall in his office sweet pea. You have been out of it for awhile and we shooed him down there to sleep.:: *Tilting my head I look over at the lady and rub my nose* Will you get my daddy please? ::Sure thing sweet pea give me a few minutes and I will be back with your daddy.:: *Snuggling back into my pillows I look around the room and pull the teddy bear that is laying next to me closer. Before I know it my daddy is rushing into the room with a worried look on his face. Smiling I sit up and open my arms.* Daddy *He crosses the room and sits on the edge of the bed pulling me into his arms rubbing my back.* ::Your awake finally. It is good to see your blue eyes again princess:: *Burrowing closer to his chest I wrap my arms around him and smile* I missed you daddy. You werent here when I woke up and I was scared *He kisses my forehead, leaving his lips pressed there for a long time.* What wrong daddy? *Shaking his head* ::Nothing princess I am happy that you are awake and I think that your fever finally broke. If your temperature stays normal until the morning then I will take you home.:: *Nodding my head* Okay daddy. *Rubbing my throat* Daddy Im thirst. Can I have something to drink? ::Of course princess.:: *He leans over and pulls a pitcher and a cup towards him and pours me a glass of water. Grinning I take the cup from him* Thank you daddy *Drinking it all down really fast I hold the cup back out to him* Can I have more? *He takes the cup from me and shakes his head* ::No not right now. Give it a little bit and you can have some more. You have an IV so I know your not dehydrated, but if you are still thirst in a little bit you can have a little more.* *Pouting I nod my head plopping back against the pillows* Okay. *hugging the teddy bear I yawn* Will you stay with me until I can go home? ::Of course I will.:: *Moving to a chair next to the bed he sits down and stretches his feet out*::Why dont you try to rest some more and I will be right here when you wake up. Promise.:: *Nodding my head I yawn and rub my eyes, moving down under the blankets some more.* Okay daddy *Yawning again I close my eyes suddenly really tired.*
