Bobs Blog #59 2nd grade, scrubs, elevators, mechanics, farm markets and horses. Are you wondering how my hodge podge list fits together? No need to keep wondering - those are the many adventures that filled my day today! I had the opportunity to go visit my Puppy Brothers class. I taught them about various working dogs, service dogs and my work as a WCC dog in particular, showed a few of my skills, allowed a bit of hands on time, posed for pictures and then had some Star Wars read to me. It was a great start to my day. Thanks to the teacher and class for allowing me to come in and gain experience in the classroom with lots of little folks! We headed over to turn in a little bit of paperwork at my PMs work. Thankfully she didnt make me retry any of the machines. We did find something of note - PMs friend had just been in the operating room and she had all sorts of interesting new smells. Luckily she is a dog lover and didnt mind my nosy exploration of her scrubs because I gave her a very thorough sniff-over. We used the elevator which has become old hat for me. I did it perfectly going in and out and wasnt nervous at all. Next stop? Stevens Auto Clinic. My van had been making a clunky noise that we were trying to get checked out. That wasnt so successful since the van wouldnt make the same noises during the test drive with the mechanic. Wasnt a wasted trip though since I was able to check out the garage. They had all sorts of things going on - some of them were loud too. I was able to collect up a number of approving comments on my appearance and behavior. That never gets old! Youd think that would be it for the day but not with my Puppy Family. We had a break and then we took my Puppy Sister to her horseback riding lessons. PM and I took a detour to the nearby Farm Market which was fun. I found HUGE flowers and I helped pick out the perfect pumpkin. Then we went back and watched the horses. A super busy and educational day full of new adventures. You just never know what each day will bring. Cant wait until tomorrow!
