Boca Bearings presents one of this year’s Innovation Contest entries! Axis360 Axis360 is a motion control system that rotates and slides a camera. Axis360 is compact and lightweight, sets up easily, and is extremely versatile. It moves at a wide range of speeds, fluidly or incrementally, and works with most DSLR, mirrorless, and cinema cameras. Its creator intended to build a kit that a single filmmaker could carry easily, seeing as the equipment used to obtain the same shot, tends to be significantly heavier. Axis360 can be used a small motorized pan head, a three axis pan, tilt and slide rig, and everything in between. Urethane coated bearings rolls the cart down the rails. Ball bearings hold the belt pulley, and bearings enable smooth motor rotations. Though amazing, Axis360 is only of many entrants in this year’s Innovation Contest.
