Boston may bid for 2024 Olympics, by Alfons Juck, EME News BOSTON (USA): An 11-member panel has determined that Boston could feasibly host the 2024 Olympics, reports metrowestdailynews. The panel, who spent 2.5 months assessing the feasibility of an Olympic bid, feel that the Olympics would fit in well with current long term infrastructure and housing plans in the US state. Their report called for the creation of a non-profit group that would bring together business leaders and university and government representatives to determine the associated costs, infrastructure needs and public and private interest in partnering for an Olympic bid.
