Breaking News: DPP Tally Centre Collapses… Infuriated By Govt Machinery Its over and it seems Government has succeeded. Malawi’s opposition Democratic Progressive Party(DPP) tally centre which was set up in Blantyre has been Infuriated by the Government machinery,the partys IT experts have confirmed. According to the officials, they believe that their base was invaded by the President Joyce Banda boys during last Fridays ‘controversial nationwide blackout which lasted close to two hours. This is a clear sign that the PP led government wants to rig elections otherwise why would they be busy in our affairs?He quizzed. This means that we will go to the polls without a tally centre because with the time span we can not manage to rebuild another centre, its impossible, “said the seemingly worried expert. However, the official said despite the hacking, the party was still optimistic of a landslide victory. “But we are not much worried of that development because Malawians already voted for us long time ago. And what government should know is that tally centre or no tally centre, we are heading towards a landslide victory.” He challenged. There was no an immediate comment from other parties on the safety of their tally centres but they were quick to say that can not be ruled out since government is desperate to rig elections through hook or crook. The development has landed barely few hours after angry Lilongwe patriotic citizens deflated the tyres of the vehicle which carried the six ballot boxes with already pre-marked Joyce Banda. The vehicle registered BP 523 was not on the MEC list of approved vehicles to carry electoral materials including Ballot Boxes and Ballot Papers.
