Breaking News: Morsi transferred to Burj Al-Arab Prison in Alexandria; Clashes across Cairo The judge presiding over Morsis trial has adjourned the session to January 8, 2014, after chants by the defendants against the court and the Military and after Morsi refused to wear the mandatory white prison outfit. During the trial, deposed president Morsi told the judge I am the legitimate President of Egypt, and stated that the court and the process are illegitimate while waving Rabaa hand-signs. Other defendants stated similar contentions, with some chanting that Morsi is their legitimate president. Outside the High Constitutional Court, clashes erupted that led to police firing tear-gas to disperse the protesters. Thousands had taken to the streets to protest against Morsis trial. Morsi supporters have reportedly started moving away from the court to the Maadi circle, cutting off the roads.
