Breath Analyser A couple was returning late from a party and the husband was driving quite haphazardly. He was stopped by the traffic cop and subjected to breath analyser test. Sure enough, the breath analyser confirmed his being under the influence of liquor. The man however remonstrated with the cop that something was wrong with the instrument and that he hadnt had any drink whatsoever. In order to prove the instrument wrong, the man suggested that the cop give the test to his wife too. Lo and behold, the wife too tested positive for liquor! But the cop insisted that it was possible that even the wife had had a drink. At this the man suggested that their four years old son was sleeping on the back seat and the cop could try out the breath analyser on him. To the shocked surprise of the cop, the little boy also tested positive for liquor. The cop apologised to them about the malfunctioning of the breath-analyser and they drove on. Heaving a sigh of relief, the husband turned to the wife, Now do you realise why I insisted on giving a tot to little Johnnie before we drove off from the party?
