Bristol 167 Brabazon. This huge aircraft was designed for the transatlantic market, It was the size of a B767 yet only carried 100 passengers in extreme luxury. Sadly non of the airlines wanted it and the protoype was the only one that ever flew. the Brabazon mk 2 was to have been a turboprop version, it was never completed. Both aircraft were scrapped in 1953. All was not lost however as many of the Brabazons systems were incorporated in the much more successful Britannia. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bristol_Brabazon
