The festive occasion will include a celebratory cocktail under the high patronage of the President of the European Commission, Jose Manuel Barroso and the Italian presidency of the EU. It will also include an informative exhibition from The Jewish Museum of Venice displaying a reflection on 500 years of Jewish history and influence on Venice and European culture. This event is co-organized by the European Jewish Community Centre, the European Jewish Association and the Representation of the Veneto Region to the EU.
