Buddy was surrendered by his owners with his housemates Jack, Oreo, and Cutie Pie. What a shock for this pit bull/ROTTWEILER mix! Buddy has a beautiful snow white coat accented with little flourishes of tan around the eyes and the ears. His face conveys a wisdom and longing to be cared for. Our best guess is his former home was not the most conducive environment for growth for this 72 pound boy. His nails were so long that even the ACC had to break down and trim them. Buddy is scared and confused and really needs our help. He knows it too, as his tail was tucked and he presented as “nervous” during intake. Buddy displayed absolutely no aggression and was labeled “alert and responsive” which is high praise in ACC language. Buddy will be just a delightful love bug once in a new home. The ACC is trying to squash that plan by placing Buddy on the euthanasia list tonight. Let’s be Buddy’s true friends now –share and advocate for him mightily to help him get out the door of the ACC to embrace a new and fabulous life!
