Burning Man Grants for Artists - Letters of Inquiry due Dec 1 As part of the marriage of Black Rock Arts Foundation and Burning Man’s Art Department, the Black Rock Arts Foundations Grants to Artists Program is becoming the Burning Man Grants for Art program. This program will continue to fund interactive, community-based art anywhere in the world (except, of course, Black Rock City, which is served by the BRC Honorarium program). The grant committee would love to see proposals for art projects connected with regional groups or headed to regional events. Please share grant information with anyone in your community working on an art project or program that fits their criteria! This program funds highly interactive, community-driven works of art that prioritize community involvement in their development, execution, and display. Were looking for projects that are accessible to the public, are civic in scope, and prompt the viewer to act. Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) for the 2015 grant cycle are due December 1st, 2014.
