Business Development Manager Urgently required for a prominent FMCG holding group Business Development Manager Job Qualifications: •At least 7 years experience of broad based business development in the Food & Beverage end use market. •Bachelor degree in Marketing or at technical background preferred. •Must have experience in the markets targeted. •Experience in creating business strategy, building alignment within and across functions to achieve goals. •Marketing and food science or development background is strength for this role. •Able to communicate customer needs to a technical development team to achieve customer requirements. •Solid business experience and knowledge of customer end use markets. •Ability to think strategically. •Exceptional leadership and communication skills. •Excellent interpersonal and project management skills. Job responsibilities •Identify and exploit business opportunities. •Provide a clear vision for the brand that is communicated to internal and external partners. •Analysis and present business opportunities and convince top management to make decisions based on facts and figures. •Plan and coordinate the implementation of business plans and the penetration of new markets •Develop, structure, negotiate, and close contracts with key partners. Liaise with executive heads on the implementation of the company’s strategic and operational plans. •Drive increased revenue and profit to achieve the Company`s ambitious growth. •Provide leadership and direction to the marketing teams by leading the development of regional objectives, strategies and plans and assisting with the development of the same at country/territory level. •Monitor marketing plan implementation. •Provide market feedback to the company leadership regarding competitive offerings, prospect needs and generate product development ideas •Work to stringent targets, the job holder will be required to adopt a professional and knowledgeable approach to each new business call.
