Business is Booming here in Seattle! I wanted to take a break from filling openings to recognize National Welding month. I am encouraging everyone to spread the word that welding, is a great profession to pursue. All of us need to be promoting the family wage positions available through the trades to the young people entering the workforce. Take a look around your workplace and look for opportunities where you can provide more training opportunities for the welders you have, to expand their capabilities and leadership skills. Also look for opportunities to participate in local AWS organizations and other groups that provide scholarships and education on welding. Now is the time to do your part in closing the skills gap that is upon us. Speaking of the skills gap, if you are in the hunt for great welding personnel, for either a short or long term need, take a look at these candidates we have prescreened, and ready to go to work. Perhaps they are just the solution you are looking for to meet your escalating production needs! Edward B. #11137, Olympia - Edward is a WABO certified Welder.
