Busy weekend ahead! Saturday night house party with my favorite clients, the Baurs. They always let me have fun and get a little crazy in their kitchen. Well be cooking a Mexican inspired feast of: *72 hour Short Ribs. *Shrimp and Avocado Tequila Ceviche. *Gorditas with Refried Beans, Cheese, and Pico de Gallo. *Fried Fish Tacos with Chayote Slaw, Sriracha, and Cilantro Buttermilk. *Grilled White Wings- Chicken Breast filled with Monterrey Jack Cheese and Jalapeno, then wrapped in Apple Wood Bacon. *Little Tortilla Bowls filled with a Black Bean and Sweet Corn Salad. *Shredded Pork Sopitas (Soft Handmade Masa Cups). *Memelas (Mexican Pizzas) with Queso Oaxaca and Charred Tomato Sauce. *Chip and Dip Station with Fire Roasted Salsa, Queso Blanco, and Fresh Guacamole. To finish the weekend, Ill be hosting a fabulous wedding menu tasting at Heirloom Blooms, then jetting over to Wimberley UMC to cook dinner for the youth group. Monday evening Ill be at Arts on 12, helping Traci Maxwell celebrate her candidacy for WISD School Board. Its a meet and greet, so come say Hi and sample some delicious hors doeuvres. Itll be a blast!
