By,,,Munna Wani »»»»» 1 dies, 5 Injured in road mishaps: Srinagar, October 07: One person died and five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir Valley. An unidentified vehicle hit a Motorcycle bearing registration number JK05A/1384 near Model Town B, Sopore on National Highway, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Ashiq Hussain Mir son of Nazir Ahmad resident of Brath Kalan, Sopore and pillion Mohammad Ashiq Khan son of Abdul Gani resident of Seloo, Sopore. Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment, where Ashiq Hussain Mir succumbed to his injuries. A case has been registered in this regard. A Tavera bearing registration number JK03/9955 on way from Srinagar to Anantnag hit and injured a pedestrian Mohammad Moosa Mandhar son of Mohammad Yousuf resident of Kalakote Rajouri at Sethar, Anantnag, in the jurisdiction of police station Bijbehara. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Bijbehara for treatment where from he was referred to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. An unidentified vehicle hit a Motorcycle at Ahad Baba Crossing, Sopore, in the jurisdiction of police station Sopore, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Mohammad Ramzan Ganie son of Mohammad Mukhtar and pillion Jehangir Ahmad Ganie son of Mohammad Subhan resident of Nowpora Kalan, Sopore. Both the injured were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sopore for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard. A Tata Indica bearing registration number JK01F/6120 rammed into an electric pole at Old Nishat, Srinagar, in the jurisdiction of police station Nishat, resulting in injuries to driver Irshad Ahmad Mir son of Abdul Gani resident of Awantipora. The injured was shifted to SKIMS, Soura, Srinagar for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
