By the way folks, just to clarify on last nights Facebook rant: In many cases of complaints, you can often tell by the response from others if something thats happened to you is commonplace within a particular establishment, and one often receives confirmation of this via the typical reaction from others - usually by replies going along the lines of Yeah, this happened to me too/Ive had this problem before.. etc. Suprisingly, and this is a rare experience for me - upon my complaint last night, along with replies to my original post, I was messaged privately by a few of my Facebook friends suggesting that this isnt something that happens a lot with this restaurant, in fact the generic consensus of these messages were more of surprise, and bewilderment - along with advice on how or who to contact in order to rectify the situation. Within an hour of my post going online, I was contacted by Ziggy Saghir Hussain, Given a very polite apology, and a very generous offer of a refund. So I think its only fair to retract my complaint, and thank Ziggy for his personal intervention, and resolving the matter as quickly and as professionally as he did. I must also mention that you have a lot of faithful customers, many of which didnt hesitate to contact me just to stand by the values of your restaurant, which in my eyes is a sign of not only a good businessman, but a very popular local figure. Its all too easy to complain and mention negative things when they happen in todays inter-connected social community, more importantly, its even easier to forget to offer praise when an issue is resolved. So thanks again Ziggys - I guess I can safely say that Ill be more than happy to be within the ranks of your regular customers :) DK.
