Working with vehicle and suspension coc to come up with design concepts in UG/NX. Design, packaging study, kinematics & compliance. Top down design of suspension components like anti roll bar, trailing arm, Isolator mounts, bushings. Working closely with cross functional teams like materials engineering, CAE, vehicle testing, product center of competency, service, warranty and supplier quality. Understand vehicle/sub system functional objectives, inter dependencies and study the packaging, serviceability and cost implications. Interpret road load data, ride & handling evaluations to redesign the parts and guide CAE team to carry out fatigue load cases, understand the right boundary conditions and understand the CAE results and analyze the component level fatigue life. Design for manufacture of stamping, forging and casting processes. Surface modeling of Sheet metal structural components and sub-assembly creation in UG/NX. Preferred Experience: BE in Mechanical/Automobile Expertise in UG NX.
