CANDY CRUSH SYMPTOM. The Initial Public Offering (IPO) for Candy Crush reaches seven billion/dollars ! This is a symptom for our world orientation: hard-a-starboard towards surface. On this poor planet which we methodically destroy, every year we spend thousands and thousands of billion dollars for entertainment, recreation programs and leisure tools, that help distract us and escape from Reality. The question is why do we need so much to distract ourselves from Reality ? What are we escaping from ? The answer lays in the early period of our lives, when we were vulnerable fetuses, newborn babies and young children exposed, defenseless, to a feelingless world disconnected from Reality. We are creatures made of a limited envelop that shelters and expresses Realitys INFINITE essence. The capacity or our envelop to endure pain is also limited. When pains too big to be consciously encountered penetrate our organism they are repressed by endogenous painkillers and hidden even before these pains reach our consciousness. The resolution of these pain-memories is postponed as they take with them in their unconscious abyss our Real self they have contaminated. They throw us on the road of the virtual stream of Time where, having lost Reality, or BEING in us, we identify with our thoughts. This identification with thoughts tries to find escapes from the prison it represents, into thought-systems we load with all our hope... but in vain. Yet, since Reality is not divisible, our Real self is the part of us by which we are anchored into Reality. And when we are disconnected from our Real self and identify with our thoughts we are disconnected from Reality as a whole and live in a fake world. This dreamed and virtual world needs to be constantly nourished in order to be maintained. The amount of money we spend to nourish the dream of our fake world based upon identification with thoughts, represents, as I said, thousands and thousands of billon dollars every year. Meanwhile we do not find the financing needed to answer properly the Global Warming we generate and which, if nothing is done, will create Hell on EARTH .. and this hellization of our planet has already widely started. Seven million people died because of CO2 emissions in 2012 ... who cares ? The problem is we have little time left for a healthy reaction and unfortunately I dont believe Humankind will be able to behave itself in such short period of time. We are too deeply immersed into identification with our thoughts to even realize what is Really happening. So, we will continue destroying Nature at a planetary scale and killing each other worldwide in conflicts our thoughts endlessly generate. And this, on the stage of an already ravaged world. The Candy Crush symptom is just a lure, a grotesque mask hiding the desolation were spreading everywhere. Through Candy Crush we celebrate our lostness. Patrick Ali Pahlavi
