CARTHAGE-AREA METH BUST ANNOUNCED Hancock County – Last evening shortly before 8 p.m. the Pendleton District Meth Suppression Squad served a search warrant at 8744 E. CR 500 South, just west of Carthage in Hancock County, as part of an ongoing investigation into the manufacture of Methamphetamine. As a result of the investigation and warrant a Carthage man was arrested on four felony charges. Arrested was Dennie W. Norfleet, age 53, charged with Attempt to Manufacture Methamphetamine, Level 5 Felony; Possession of Methamphetamine, Level 6 Felony; Maintaining a Common Nuisance, Level 6 Felony and Possession of Precursors, a Level 6 Felony. Norfleet was lodged in the Hancock County Jail. The Meth Suppression Troopers were assisted in their investigation by the Hancock County Prosecutors Office and Shirley Police Department K-9 Officer Brian Pryor along with his partner Huron.
