So many of you work so hard at coming every single day and hitting your 20 miles. I am always in awe at the people running around as I drive up to the park and then as I linger for sometimes an hour talking to someone after class and still see many of you walking the one mile loop again and again. There are so many of you to name it would be difficult to name all of you without accidentally missing someone, but just know I marvel and sit with great respect for how you have taken something I have put out as a Challenge and made it a part of who you are! I am so proud of all of you!!! As many of you know we draw two names out of a hat to determine who the two winners each 4 weeks will be for the 2 Go The Extra Mile Health Challenges. Our TWO WINNERS for our TWO GO THE EXTRA MILE HEALTH CHALLENGES are very deserving and have really been taking this Boot Camp and the two Health Challenges to a whole new level of performance and commitment and this is Molly Christner and Donna Cooper! YAY!!! YOU ARE EACH THE WINNERS OF A FOUR WEEK FREE BOOT CAMP!!! Molly has won for attending all 20 workouts and Donna for hitting all 20 miles. Now I should mention that Molly runs the miles too and Donna hit all 20 workouts in 20 days and actually ran sometimes 3 miles a day!!! TRULY REMARKABLE!!! Congratulations to all of you who worked sooo hard to accomplish these Health Challenges. I do need to give special props to Lesley Cook, Jaime Park, Kelly Schmidt, Gabe Garcia, Sebastian Sarmiento and Ashley Schmidt who attended TWO BOOT CAMP PER DAY to hit their goals!!! TOTALLY AWE INSPIRING!!! New Chance to win starts Monday and the rules are below! Good Luck! To those of you who do not already know the rules to win a FREE 4 Week Boot Camp you can participate in either or both of the two Health Challenges every 4 Weeks and win one or BOTH of the Free 4 Week Boot Camps! HEALTH CHALLENGE #1: Attend a total of 20 one hour Boot Camp classes within the 4 week Boot Camp starting Sept 1st. HEALTH CHALLENGE #2: Within 20 minutes BEFORE or AFTER Boot Camp at Discovery Park run one mile for a total of 20 miles during the next 4 weeks of Boot Camp. All miles must be completed at Discovery Park outside of Boot Camp training hours. Meaning before class starts and not started until class is over for them to be counted. Miles should be started AFTER 5:10am for the 5:30am class; 5:10pm for the 5:30pm class; and 8:40am for the 9am class. IN ORDER TO WIN: Each week you must email (not text or IM) your total miles and/or classes attended. Just enter the total in the subject line of the email like this each week: 5 miles 5 workouts day 5. Then the following weeks: 10 miles, 10 workouts day 10, and so on. And remember...those who go the extra mile and attend their workouts regularly lose their excess fat faster and develop a higher capacity to perform cardiovascular moves!
