Hi all. I had a most unfortunate incident with Cypermethrin. I regularly sponge my hounds and horses with a mild version of Cypermethrin (Quadrepel). Nowhere on the label does it say harmful to bees and aquatic life. Anyway, I dipped my border Collie yesterday by using a very wet sponge (she hates it) and she promptly went and rolled in the dirt then jumped into the garden fountain to wash herself off. Well, this morning, all my fish were floating on the top, as well as a handful of bees. Just be careful when using anything containing Cypermethrin. (Maxi Cyp 20, Quadrepel and Cyperin (used for bug spraying on crops). and use gloves. it is absorbable thru the skin.
