CEO Jay Altman operates FirstLine Schools in New Orleans. This fellow is a fascist carpetbagger that was given the operation of Joseph S. Clark High School (now Clark Prep Charter ), located in one of the oldest black neighborhoods in the United States, Treme. The high school students (protesting) have been highlighted in the news across the country, because CEO Jay Altman has hired a large number of TFA teachers (mainly White), and have installed abrasive discipline policies so he can normalize the students. Jay Altam has stated that Clarke is is innovative; however, the students have been protesting for more African American teachers in the classroom, and access to art and music classes that were not online.
