CHANYEOL Why were YOU in the wrong for being slightly annoyed with Chanyeol, your boyfriend of 3 years, for the fact that he acts like a 7 year old half the time? You didn’t see why you were being unreasonable, he acted too childish, and he never took anything seriously. Not one thing. He didn’t seem to understand your everyday stresses, or hardships, instead of facing them, he’d rather bury his head in a game. You went into your living room, once again finding Chanyeol, plugged into the latest game that had been released, playing online with his friends, you weren’t letting him avoid anything this time, you swiftly walked towards the socket and pulled the plug. “BABE! I was winning that!” Chanyeol sulked, pulling off his headset in defeat, “Chanyeol, we have REAL things to be worrying about! Not how fast you can race around a track, but the fact my parents will be visiting and you still haven’t bothered help with anything, or even help arrange plans, im sick of doing everything alone!” you explained, possibly slightly harsh toned, “What do you mean I do nothing?” he asked, his eyes wide, “Well, in the whole prepare for the parents visit, you haven’t lifted a finger, except the ones you’ve been playing this stupid game with!” you snapped, “Look, it’s about time you grew up” you stated firmly, “What?” he retorted, “You’re like a child half the time Chanyeol, and it’s not fair, im your girlfriend, not your mother” you sighed, angrily, trying to contain your anger slightly was proving fairly difficult as he showed a lack of reaction to what you were saying, “CHANYEOL!” you yelled, “What!? What do you want me to do?” “Help me out a bit? Act like a man, not a boy” you turned to walk away, “im just tired of feeling like im the only one that actually cares” you sighed as you continued walking. You left Chanyeol dumbfounded, struggling to face the fact that he probably does act too childish, and hasn’t really helped you for quite an important event. I mean, your parents hadn’t really met him properly yet, only a passing swoop, they weren’t overly supportive of your relationship anyway. They repeatedly told you he was too childish and didn’t take responsibility, but you loved him. “Ok, ok, look, I’m sorry” Chanyeol sighed, wrapping his arms softly around you, as he secured you in a sweet back hug, “Chanyeol, we talk about it so much, and every time, you say sorry, and think that’s the end of it” you shook your head, as you continued arranging the fruit bowl, “Im serious though” “But are you Chanyeol?” you asked, half-heartedly, expecting some excuse, “Yes! Im sorry, I really am, you’re right, it’s time for me to grow up, I swear, please don’t leave me” he sighed, nestling his head into the crook of your neck, “Leave you!!?” you exclaimed, “don’t be stupid” “But you said-“ You swivelled in his arms, smiling softly up at him, “Channie! Im not going to leave you! im just annoyed, well I was, but if you’re serious about trying to be a little more grown up then, just forget I said anything” you smiled softly, pecking his lips before turning back, “I’ll be back soon” Chanyeol called, running towards the door, “No! They’re going to be here-“ and slam, the door is shut and no newly mature boyfriend in sight. An hour before they arrived and you were alone, no Chanyeol, just you, you couldn’t believe he’d pulled a stunt like this, leaving you on the one day you wanted him there most. You got ready and greeted your parents warmly, making them both a drink and sitting them down. “Where’s Chanyeol?…” your father asked, looking around for any evidence of him, “He’s out, he rushed out an hour ago…” you explained, “Hmm…I knew that boy wasn’t committed enough, if he cant even meet your parents, how is he going to fare in the future?” your mum asked, belittling you perfectly, she seemed to have an expertise In it. “look he’ll be here later, honestly” you smiled, nodding, although the knot in your stomach was making you feel sick. Soon enough you heard the front door, and you didn’t even know how you were going to introduce Chanyeol without clubbing him one first. He rushed in, the biggest grin on his face, you weren’t sure why he seemed so elated over the fact he was now 45 minutes later than your parents, “Mr and Mrs Golez, I want to apologise for being late, but I have something very important to do” he said, dead seriously, you’d never seen him so serious before, “Zeny…” he smiled softly, “you know I love you, and, its been 3 years now, I know that I’ve been stupidly childish, and annoyingly irresponsible, but, it’s really time for things to change, Im not quite sure what to say, apart from, I want you to be with me for, well, forever…” “chanyeo-“ “Zeny, will you marry me?” he asked, pulling a beautiful ring from his pocket, you froze, before crying, “of course I will” you chuckled, watching as he placed the ring on your finger, you grinned, tears still streaming down your face, Chanyeol kissed you sweetly, before sitting beside you and wrapping his arm around you, “for a second Chanyeol, I thought you’d bailed” your father spoke, catching the attention of Chanyeol, “but, im guessing you were buying the ring? I know it took me 2 hours to pick Zeny’s mothers” he nodded, “yeah, I wanted it to be perfect” Chanyeol nodded, smiling, “it is perfect” you smiled, “are you sure?” you asked, chuckling slightly, “of course I am stupid!” he chuckled, grinning at you, “you are silly Zeny” your mother chuckled. After an evening of celebration, your parents seemed as if they approved, whether they actually did or not, you couldn’t care less, you were over the moon and further if it were possible. “my grown up channie” you chuckled, laying beside Chanyeol as he played with your hands sweetly, “my little cutie” he smiled grabbing you in a hug, “I love you more than anything” he grinned, kissing the top of your head, “I love you too, sorry I moaned at you, and nagged” “that’s what fiances are for” he chuckled, squeezing you tightly~ -DO NOT RE-UPLOAD WITHOUT MY PERMISSION-
