Earth Dragon moons have regal potency. It is full of potential power and new leadership. The weaknesses of power are also quite strong and there is a tendency to be aggressive, celebrate before victory and take far too much for granted. Folly lies in excess. The key is to work closely with others, take advice and seek wisdom not just victory. New and minor illnesses are often over-looked as the moon waxes and injury is immanent as it wanes. Partner relationships can be easily strained if one becomes too dominant. ********* if passion always made for more ... then using a sledge hammer to dial your cell phone would let your friend know you REALLY loved them ... of course, with passion still in charge we might wind up blaming the cell phone company for our heart break and frustration when our friend does not reply LOL ... when I use the term self-reflection it is not staring at your navel it is working/playing with the situation at hand with openness and interest (not passion) ... just sayin ********* Fri April 4 – 3rd moon/5th day Talk about provocative negativity. Today the devil is in your ear. Damn Ming is such a sissy – too modest, too much waiting. Lurching forward seems to have promise but the compound indicators say no – don’t do it. It is not to say a bit of violence is sometimes called for (if only to clear away complacency) but … not today. The set-up for sudden moves is there … the odds are 10:1 against success. What we have here is a growing yang confidence that is distracted and impatient with the learning/maturing process. The qi of the day is like a mindless bully – excess testosterone. We are talking about wasting yang; like a dead boy who never grows to be a man. Sleep with a night light and seek portentous dreams. Scale it down and things go well. Just shake hands, no contract signing. Start a new chapter not a new book. Pay the minimum not the principle. Hang with the best buddy not the whole posse. The Liver channel is open. The emotional dimensions of healing are enhanced. Any foot Bladder points in the morning and Kidney 6 and Lung 7 in the afternoon. Choose 2 needle patterns (10 minutes each). Do not use too many needles or long treatments. A little chat while you offer massage is good – very 80’s. Eat vegetarian food – no dairy is good for you. Pure Light or CLEAR AND BRIGHT QI NODE Yang Leads Yin WOOD (7am Stomach) Qing Ming “Clear and Luminous” Stem Yi Clear and Bright says it all! From the equality of the Equinox arises the pure light of pristine Yang – fresh and vigorous. The days grow longer and everything is in its place for new growth. If the weather is harmonious the first harvest (flush) of green tea is made. Abundant offering rites commemorating the ancestors let the dead (Yin) know that the living (Yang) made it successfully through to another winter. A little pride is okay. The warmth of Heaven pours down (rain and warm wind) like a continuous silk filament. Confidence spreads. Yang is fully activated. In this qi node the qi is best at 7am. Rise early and practice neigong facing due East. Appreciate the Yang by going places and doing things. Be busy, it’s okay! Be excellent at your work, remodel the house and volunteer to assist those in need. Be strong! VISITING GRAVE SITES OF THE ANCESTORS IS COMMON PRACTICE OF THE NEXT 2 WEEKS - AS IS THE HARVESTING OF SPRING FLUSH GREEN TEA Sat April 5 – 3rd moon/6th day The Qi Node Pure Light begins today (until April 20). Yang takes charge. The qi indications offer ascension for good behavior and basic survival for poor behavior. How do you feel? Have you grown up or are you in Juvenile Hall? Don’t worry, second chances are available and school is mandatory. Lessons from wise elders and lessons from petty criminals are both educational. Make a choice. The day qi is good for contract signing (decision-making) and turning over a new leaf (Fire Horse day accepts the bridle). A little amateur psychoanalysis gives you clarity. Ritualizing initiation (wedding) goes well. Burying the dead and burying the hatchet are auspicious. Small Intestine channel is open. Herb decoctions and tinctures are enhanced (particularly tonic herbs). Small Intestine 3 is profound. Work the neck and shoulder muscles and tendons. Eat no chilies. Give up coffee for good. Sun April 6 – 3rd moon/7th day When you see the potential big reward of summer it is easier to wait and cultivate the growing yang. Today insights are available for making a good forward plan. Part of the plan is remaining modest (if not austere) today. Consult the oracle. Remember that a sense of ease is naturalness itself. Co-factors are gathering like rainclouds and rewards are inevitable so chill and coast. Mother Nature has your back. Enjoy the day and keep a calm eye on plans and resources. Be in bed by 10pm. Avoid digging too deep (research, gardening), making promises (contracts) and pushing for growth (let the growth appear naturally). Don’t work with strugglers. The Heart channel is open. San Jiao 3, 4 and especially 5 are useful. Use balancing treatments (bi-lateral points, 2 arm, 2 leg and 1 extra on head or torso). Massage therapists keep the room/clients very warm. Patients with a strong identification with their imbalances will simply not respond to treatment – rethink the diagnosis – use general treatments. Mon April 7 – 3rd moon/8th day The urges to lunge and lurch can be resisted today with good immediate results. Consult the oracle. Ordinariness brings reward. Insight is available from awareness rather than analysis. Seeing that you see – or, indeed, seeing sight itself gives depth to every action. Tsunamis of co-factors are caught in a teacup without spilling a drop. Stay within boundaries; practice anything traditional and all goes well. Sit in the North (facing South) at any or all meetings. Fengshui adjustments (threshold, kitchen and bedroom) go well. Do not be negligible with your family obligations even if you feel like your needs are not met. A little selfless abandon is good. You are allowed a little pride in your ability to support others. The Stomach and San Jiao channels are open. Needle Stomach 45 or Gallbladder 41 while offering a gentle, monotonous abdominal massage (10-15 minutes) to disperse stuck heat/damp.
