CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE IS THE ONLY WEAPON IN FIGHTING FOR SOCIAL - TopicsExpress

CIVIL DISOBEDIENCE IS THE ONLY WEAPON IN FIGHTING FOR SOCIAL JUSTICE. Civil disobedience is the public act of willfully disobeying the law and the commands of an authority. It is on this note that I am using this medium to call for political revisionism and flip flop as touching the present state of health of this NATION. It is a thing of sorrow as preponderance numbers of Nigerians still wallow in abject poverty and persevere in suffering and smiling (FELA). Indeed yes! Erosion of immorality has adrift the ship of the country and civil disobedience is the only weapon I believe we can employ to fight against social upheaval and political injustice in this nation. I try to philosophize psychologically and believe the premise is the best reaction to the incessant political bedlam of the “cabalocracy” in Nigeria. It is time we knew that freedom and revolution don’t come to those who sit and pray but those who think and act. History gives astronomical numbers of civil revolution that took place in great countries like: America, Britain, Israel, South Africa and even Ghana before they could achieve their national dream. Truly, history is a night mare which am trying to wake in this country because each time my mind stream down to the read activities of our freedom fighters my heart sinks in limbo and nostalgic ramble that are we out rightly free from the shackles of colonialism ? My dear compatriot, the situation of this country calls for nothing but a stiff ‘occupy Nigeria’ and home to home killing of this destiny killers. I hardly think straight these days because the horrendous situation of this country fixed me in a trance and deeds of our present “rulers” disillusioned me about the struggles of our heroes past. In America, racism was plague on black Americans in the 17s but some great men of vision like: Booker Washington, W.E.B Du Bois, James farmer, Martin Luther King, and other ilk’s of them fought earnestly against injustice until they achieve their dream but some paid with their lives .The heroism trait could also be seen in Nelson Mandela of South Africa when apartheid was killing the aboriginal of south Africa, he fought and paid with prison porridge but He eventually achieved his dream. But why are Nigerian rulers failing their heroes past? Nigeria is a good ambience of green pasture, accommodating and indeed mothered! But the rapacious individuals that are paddling her affairs make her soil inhabitable for the sons and daughter. This moment I am using to give out a spout revolutionary speech that it is time we called for a change; it is time we made things happen cause the adage say “Lion would not have been powerful and made a king if all animals have been united to make a whole” .United we stand! Radicalism we sincerely crave; we need a total change. In all, civil disobedience is the only tool to fight against injustice and political tyranny in this country. It is the only weapon for our survival in Nigeria. The peace and tranquility for joy, comfort, smile and sorrow it is. Let us unanimously hold unto this and make a change because scarcely would you see a country suffering from primordial disease of corruption without paying a pricey either by orgy of blood or eternal hapless. In order to halt or put an end to the corrupted political demagoguery activities of using pilfering things to eat deep into the heart of our youth the open flood gate has to be blocked. The question now is who will bell the cat? I CAN! YOU CAN! COLLECTIVELY WE CAN! God bless Nigeria. Oladele O.G Nigeria TODAY.
