COMCAST UPDATE: Freedom. Sweet, succulent freedom. As of this afternoon, #Comcast has released me, albeit unwillingly, from its kung-fi grip. I must be honest, I originally called this morning and once again mistakenly asked to speak to someone about disconnecting my service. I was placed on an extended hold, and ultimately disconnected-up on, during a second transfer. However, I hatched a brilliant scheme to pretend I was moving. I called again hours later to test my theory. Unfortunately, I was quickly proven correct as I had zero issues getting immediately connected to the right person. When she asked me to confirm that I was transferring service, I told her I would love to, but my new area only accepted the other local provider. She quickly scheduled me to be disconnected and it was over with. Please pass this information along to any of your friends or family who may be struggling themselves to get free from this corporate beast. #Xfinity
