CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE:RE: SUPREME COURT VERDICT: I wish to fully congratulate Governor Mimiko of Ondo State on the judicial affirmation of his election for the second term as Governor of Ondo State. With this victory at Supreme Court today, I have now accepted that he broke the second term jinx in our dear Sunshine State. Even though it is not my wish that he wins, it is obvious that God is the ultimate giver of power and I believe in destiny as the thinking of God is different from that of man! Now that he has won, I wish to call on him to impact positively on the People of Ondo State by changing his NAZIST AND CURRENT ANTI- PEOPLE POLICIES for better. I shall continue to call his policies and the way he administer Ondo State to question as the need arises and I do not want people to see his victory as something capable of suppressing my determination for a better Ondo State. As a Lawyer, I am left with no choice but to accept the verdict of Supreme Court on this matter being the last bus stop as I do not have any other profession and I will not do anything to undermine its integrity. I also wish to congratulate my governorship candidate of the defunct ACN, BARR ROTIMI ODUNAYO AKEREDOLU (SAN) and that of PDP, BARR. ALEXANDER OLUSOLA OKE for a job well done in the way and manner they jointly and severally and doggedly pursued this matter to a logical conclusion, this shall go down in history and posterity will never forgive them for their quest and thirst for a better Sunshine State. Let me also congratulate all the people of Ondo State from all the divides. I plead will my fellow opposition members to let us accept this fate as we are left with no alternative in our democracy though the task to make him perform and expose his corrupt tendencies should not be sacrificed for anything under the sun. The struggle in that regard should continue! Once again, I say congratulations to Mimiko and Labour Party on their Supreme Court victory. I shall remain in opposition as long as Mimiko regime lasts and will NEVER join LP. We shall meet in 2017 again on Ondo State Governorship election if Jesus tarries in his second coming and protect us till then. Tolu Babeleye, a Lawyer write from Acalabar, Cross Rivers State.
