COURTESY POST - Home needed for two dogs, owner passed away. Located in NYC area. Terry and Charlies owner was in hospice care and recently passed away. Both dogs need new homes, not necessarily together. Descriptions and contact info below: Terry is a very cute long haired terrier mix with a smart new haircut. He loves being groomed and made a fuss of and sees himself as your lap dog, who will gaze lovingly at you while you tell him how wonderful he is. He has a real mischievous, rag a muffin look and what people describe as David Bowie eyes - one blue one brown. he is a little shy of other dogs, although we go to the dog run every day, and he likes to go on longer walks along the East River. He is quiet and easy-going round the house, and always keen to go out, rain or shine. Terry loves everybody, wants to be everybodys friend and seems to have little interest in the ladies, he will only have eyes for you! Charlie is your quintessential yard dog, he is learning to play fetch, hasnt quite gotten returning with the ball yet, but loves the dog run and running around with other dogs, its been very rewarding seeing him develop over the last month into the dog that he potentially is. He has very expressive eyes and although shy at first and a little fearful with strangers you can see that he wants to trust people and be loved. Also, quiet and easy in the house and enjoys a walk. Although brothers, these guys seem quite independent of each other. I dont think separating them would be an issue.
