CURLEW SANDPIPER vs DUNLIN Curlew sandpiper - Long more evenly decurved beak, pronounced superilium, slender neck, longer legs, slightly larger in size and appears slightly brighter. Dunlin - Slight decurved beak towards the tip, absence of supercilium, short neck, smaller in size as compared to Curlew, colour is dullish grey, broad white wedge at the shoulder. Please note these differences are in Non-breeding plumage.
