Cad and Caddy, (Seymour Kneitel, 1947), one of Little Lulus many dubious encounters with the nameless mustache guy with anger management issues. Why is there something so funny to me about some big mean guy yelling Grrrr! I hate children!!! Still, though----is it only me, or does the degree of this guys rage, especially in the chase scenes, make anyone else a bit uncomfortable? These Lulu cartoons with Mr. Mad Mustache have always had a slightly uneasy vibe to me that I cant quite put my finger on. The color in this print varies rather dramatically from shot to shot. Some of the scenes are more or less normal, while others are extremely dark. Still dont get how that kind of thing happens.
