Caesar You know now that Thanksgiving is over I thought I would post this extraordinary event that occurred here last weekend. Last Friday night as Kathy and myself sat down for dinner..I grilled fish... and served it with a store bought pre-made salad....Kathy noticed the little green bug walking around on top of her salad..I have never seen a creature like this before and with all openings to our home either closed or screened I knew that this little fellow had been transported within our pre-made salad. As I am getting older I have come to appreciate all living things ( there are some exceptions) but this was not one of those. I picked it up and took it outside and placed it on our patio seat cushion...without thinking twice about it. Here comes the weird part....that next day Saturday morning, after having our breakfast and warming up our Jacuzzi and immersing in it, I found this same exact bug that was in Kathys salad the night before on my hand skimmer net that was laying on a boulder that is part of our Jacuzzi surround. It has wings but would not leave..I had my camera and of course took some shots. I cant help but think how thankful this little creature was to not only be out of his cold prison...it was in my fridge for days and how many days before after it was processed?..but now to be here next to the warmth of my 96 degree Jacuzzi..and he was there the next day as well...now gone to areas unknown. Kathy has named him Caesar after the pre-made salad that he arrived in. I have other pics and one video I will post soon...God Bless the little Creatures as well..this pic was taken when he looking right into the camera..about a 1/4 inch from him....
