Call it a moment of clarity and epiphany. Although Im pretty agnostic, almost atheist these days, Ive realized this morning that Ive been pretty blessed in my life. I have a beautiful, amazingly talented wife who has patience and kindness in her heart, and the voice of an angel. I have two children who are kind, goofy and just plain awesome. I have the love of my sister/comedic twin, my handsome ageless father, a mother in law who took me in as the motherless child and has given me nothing but love and a father in law who imparts wisdom, wit and selflessness, and all of my friends, like you. On top of that, I work for a cool job, with cool as hell coworkers, where I get to meet people who tell me stories about being stared down by Michael Jackson in a studio . I would never have seen this life coming 20 years ago when I was at my darkest points of despair, grief and depression. I had to have this moment to look outside of myself, while looking at the man in the mirror. So, Im feeling reengerized, refocused and recommitted to creating and chasing my goals, and to do so with a empathetic and grateful heart. In other words, happy Wednesday to all that read this.
