Camdens PT in Dallas along with his PT here suggested documenting Camden as things happen and progress to be able to refer to for medical purposes. As of today, at age 6, Camden now exhibits the full Gowers Sign when rising from the floor. He has lost all ability to lift his head or trunk when laying flat on his back against gravity. He can no longer raise his arms above his head or out level. The amount of time he can hold them up is a matter of seconds. He cant carry anything of weight for over a minute. He has also lost considerable hand strength and at times has trouble bringing his food to his mouth. He was an angel to do the stairs for me today, as you can see how taxing it is for and on him. His run is a fast walk for a few seconds as he falls behind and stops soon due to fatigue. He walks/stands no longer than 30 minutes without tiring. Life is just getting harder and this isnt even close to what will come. But, he takes it all in stride and pushes on. Let this be YOUR source of strength. I know HE is MINE!♡
