Can I Follow You To Jesus? Philippines 3:17-21, Paul says, Dear brothers and sisters, pattern your lives after mine, and learn from those who follow our example. For I have told you often before, and I say it again with tears in my eyes, that there are many whose conduct shows they are really enemies of the cross of Christ. They are headed for destruction. Their god is their appetite, they brag about shameful things, and think only about this life here on earth. But we are citizens of heaven, where the Lord Jesus Christ lives. And we are eagerly waiting for him to return as our Savior. He will take our weak mortal bodies and change them into glorious bodies like his own, using the same power with which he will bring everything under his control....... Are you really eagerly waiting for the return of Christ Jesus? Mmmm, are you? Where you will have to stand before Him, and let Him examine your worldly lifestyle. Are you really ready for that day? Mmmm, are you? Where He will look at your heart and lifestyle, and the words that you used, and He will determine if He was truly your Lord, or just a hobby of yours... Are you really ready for that day where your eternal destination will hang in the balance of where Jesus ranked in your heart and lifestyle?...... Are you truly ready for the day where Gods Word says that only a few will hear from God when He looks at our selfish lifestyles, Well done, good and faithful servant, and most will hear, Away from me, I dont know you!? Are you really ready for your final verdict?...... Before you have to stand before the Son of God for this final verdict, I want you to do one thing for me. I want you to stop reading this post, and go and find a mirror. I want you to look at yourself in that mirror, and ask yourself, Where does Jesus rank in my life?. Now go and do that.... If the results of your question doesnt have Jesus at the top of your lifestyle, then why do you expect to hear the words, Well done, good and faithful servant? If Jesus has been replaced by one of your many worldly idols, and there are so many to choose from, then why do you think that your eternal destination will be heaven? Why?......I am scared for the people of our Nation, called the United States! We are a people who know all about Jesus, and all about what He can give us - eternal life in heaven; but refuse to believe that we can replace Him with other idols that we choose to love more than Him! And, we refuse to believe that if we happen to choose to love the things of this earth more than the Savior, that we choose to forfeit our eternal prize that God has freely given to us... I surely dont want something I dont deserve! What I read in the Bible, is the ones that will receive their eternal prize with gladness, are the ones who loved Jesus Christ more than anything! Does that reflect your life today? Mmmm, does it? Well see my friends! Judgement day is coming! And where Jesus ranks in your lifestyle, will determine where you will spend forever!!! Why cant we live everyday, trying to turn the number of people who are following Jesus, in your area of influence, from few into many? Whos with me? Lets do it!
