Can Satan read our minds And know our thoughts? It is important - TopicsExpress

Can Satan read our minds And know our thoughts? It is important for us to remember that Satan is not omnipresent – he cannot be in more than one place at a time. Only God is everywhere, only God knows everything, while Satan must rely on his army of demons to do his bidding. Can Satan and/or his demons read our minds? Scripture does not say specifically whether or not Satan can read our minds. But the Bible does teach us that Satan is very powerful and his power is second only to God. He was the highest of all the fallen angels, and he was persuasive enough to convince one third of the angels to believe in him and join in his rebellion against God (Revelation 12:4). Even after his fall from heaven, not even Michael the Archangel dared to confront him without the Lord’s help (Jude 9). Satan is the “the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work in those who are disobedient” (Ephesians 2:2b). Born Again Believers are told to Resist the devil, and he will flee from you” (James 4:7b). The Bible gives us NO reason to believe Satan and his demons can read our minds, that would take a measure of omnipresence and omniscience, which they do not have. However, Satan and his demons have been observing and tempting human beings for thousands of years. IN ADDITION, they can Overhear our speech when we talk to others and even when we speak out loud or even whisper, to ourselves!. So they have learned a few things about us over the years. Even without the ability to know our thoughts, they can probably make a well-educated guess as to what we are thinking, and then attempt to use it to their advantage and in their schemes. That is why we are commanded to “Submit yourselves, then, to God” (James 4:7a), before we are told to “Resist the devil” (James 4:7b). However as Born Again Believers, we have the Victory that Jesus gave us, and not Satan or his demons can touch us, without Gods permission. They can try to put thoughts into our minds and turn others, even our loved ones against us. That is why we need to put on the full armor of God each day and take every thought captive, before Jesus. 1 Corinthians 15:54-58 When the perishable has been clothed with the imperishable, and the mortal with immortality (When our life on earth has ended and we are Born Again in and reunited in) Body, Soul and Spirit), then the saying that is written will come true: Death has been swallowed up in victory. 55 Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting? 56 The sting of death is sin, and the power of sin is the law. 57 But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. 58 Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain. **** 1 Corinthians 15:1-4, tells you the Pure Gospel of Gods Grace for Your Salvation, by Faith in what Jesus has done**** https://youtube/watch?v=lJO9GJplZRs&list=RDlJO9GJplZRs&index=1
