Can we PLEASE bring our kids home? The U.S. is at war with ISIS who is at war with Assad who we are also at war with (via proxies). The U.S. is allied with the Turkey who is bombing the Kurds with whom the U.S. is also allied. The U.S. is the enemy of Iran who is fighting alongside the Iraqi government with whom we are also fighting, but Iran is also fighting with Assad who we are attacking. The U.S. is arming non-ISIS rebels against Assad but bombing other non-ISIS rebels who are also against Assad. The U.S. is the friend of the Christians in Syria who are being protected by Assad who we are trying to overthrow. The U.S. is allied with the Sunnis in Syria but supporting the oppressive Shi’ite government in Iraq. The U.S. wants a democracy in Syria, but its coalition is comprised of autocrats in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Jordan, and Egypt. What a cluster f**k.
