Can you help TinkerLab reader, Bridget, with her question about screen time, toys, and creativity for 11-year olds? I am a mother of 11 year old twin boys. They will be entering sixth grade next school year. Im finding that the older they get, the less playing they are doing with toys. Electronics are becoming the new toys. Friends are having a huge influence on them wanting to have an ipad or smartphone. I fear if we dont find some other outlets for play, we will loose them to the screen. Im looking forward to using your tips and advice to make our home more creative friendly.
