Candice Rainey nominated me to post about five horses that have had the greatest influence in my life. So, here I go. Ill start with Giant. My first mare. She gave me more than I could ever write. She taught me the value of unconditional love for an animal. Her and I went through a lot. She was always there for me, especially when I needed a shoulder to cry on. She was was safe spot. She taught me to listen to the animal beneath me. There were quite a bit of times where she would drop and roll while in the field riding. Of course now I know it probably was because of an ill fitting saddle. I put her through a lot of things. She was my first horses and I knew nothing about caring for one but she stuck with me and loved me anyways. I loved her more then words can say. Its was literally love a first site with her. Her passing was the hardest thing. I still miss her to this day. Next is Jackson. This damn horse caused me more pain then anything. But I loved him none the less. This guy was awesome. He taught me that it was okay to love another horse again the way I loved Giant. He was incredibly fun to ride, no one else thought so haha. He gave me confidence as well as took it away. He came into my life and left just as quickly. But I believe he was there for a reason. I would do anything to see him again and thank him. Parker. This horse is fun. Love him. I dont know why but we have always had an incredible bond. He is my pineapple. (Dont ask lol) One day I hope to own him. I cannot really say what I have learned from him or why he has an influence over me but he has a special place in my heart. Buddy. Wow, what can I say about Booboo. Fantastic horse. Over the years of getting updates, he has taught me patients is a virtue. You can over come a lot. I think I was more irritated by this horse more than anything but damn do I love him haha. He helped me to realize that being nervous is bad. You need to breath and relax and things will go better Last but not least, Fuzzy. Oh dear, I cannot even begin to explain what he has taught me. One thing is, horses drink. I swear he was drunk a lot of the time. Lol. He also taught me that its okay to open up once in a while and just book it. But not to often, to much of a good thing can mean fixing your mistake for months. He also taught me the actual mean to horses are expensive. I dont think I have ever been so dedicated to a horse since Giant. Words cannot explain. He also taught me to let go. Not everything goes the way you want it to. So my novel is done. Nominees will be in the comments :)
