Capitol News reported a story on Monday August 26 about the conduct of the Police in dealing with Mr.Kevin Charles. ONE WEEK after Charles made a complaint to the Office of Professional Responsibility the Police instituted charges today alleging that Charles assaulted Five Policemen and had an offensive weapon. Now what did the Police PR Release say about charges and police conduct? “The Guyana Police Force wishes to state that its approach in meeting its responsibilities to the people of Guyana is to take a professional stance. In such an approach, it is required to investigate all complaints made by all persons.
