Career change --- Dear CM’s It’s a long shot in me asking this question or series of questions. My hubby is looking for a career change. He has thought about the Police Force (although not recruiting at the moment) but some of his personality traits he finds might affect his ability to be a Police Officer (confidence, shyness). He has no other ideas on what career to look at, but sitting behind a desk does not appeal to him. He is our main breadwinner but the job he is currently doing has no ability to earn any more money or move up the change of command. So my questions are: 1. Are there any Police Officer Mum’s that can give any advice on whether or not it’s a good idea becoming a police officer with some of these qualities 2. Any places/companies to go to in order to help work out what career options he likes and could do. 3. Any ways to help build his confidence and social skills or people that can help give guidance with this Thanks!
