Cecil, MD Severe Thunderstorm Watch: Issued at: 2:55 PM EDT on June 26, 2013, expires at: 10:00 PM EDT on June 26, 2013 The NWS Storm Prediction Center has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for portions of District of Columbia Delaware central and eastern Maryland southern New Jersey southeastern Pennsylvania central and eastern Virginia coastal waters effective this Wednesday afternoon and evening from 255 PM until 1000 PM EDT. Primary threats include... several damaging wind gusts to 70 mph possible several large hail events to 1.5 inches in diameter possible The Severe Thunderstorm Watch area is approximately along and 95 statute miles east and west of a line from 10 miles north of Atlantic City New Jersey to 45 miles west of South Hill Virginia.
