Celebrating the life of my dear classmate causes me to reflect that we all must go this way. But Charles is gone too soon. I thought about our 6 maybe 12 years together and the fun carefree life we lead. Dying was the furtherest thing from our mind. I did not keep up with Charles but would sometimes see him in Walmart, the grocery store or a gas station with the same greeting heyyyyy classmate! I could not but cry for his family today. For a sweet humble soul has been taken from this world but the comfort is in knowing that Charles knew and loved The Lord. We are all forever connected having walked across that stage together. Ready to face the world. Im also reminded of our class song.......May the road rose to meet you, may the wind be always at your back. May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rain fall soft upon your fields. And until we meet again, may God hold you in the palm of his hand. Rest well Chill ole friend. Until we meet again.
