Chairman Alan Cransberg has said that West Coast is unlikely to nominate Ben Cousins for Hall of Fame induction this year. Despite his highly impressive achievements, which include 4 Best and Fairests, 6 All Australian selections, A Premiership medal and a Brownlow medal, Cousins off-field controversies are likely to deny him a spot in the Hall of Game, since the committee always consider a potential nominees “ability, integrity, sportsmanship and character”. Pretty disappointing considering the sheer ability of the man, off-field problems or not.
