Check out Nicole London using the SSB (Safety Squat Bar)… This bar is great for anyone who loves Back Squatting but lacks the proper amount of External Rotation at the shoulder joint. If you have problems with tight Internal Rotation and it causes you to be tight when trying to grab the Barbell during a back squat, it will cause you to compensate and you will hyper extend the lumbar spine (hyper-lordosis) - Adding the compression forces of Back Squatting to hyper-lordosis can and will be an issue (injury)! Fixing the rotator problem is key here - And if for some reason the issue cant be fixed, the SSB is ideal!
