China now produces twice the CO2 that the US does. Their coal plants, industry and vehicles have produced so much soot and heavy metals that its poisoned many cities drinking water - its dangerous to even wash in. The WHO calculates already short life spans in their cities now lose another 5.5 years from breathing in their toxic air.
