Chopschtick, the longest and only asian-american standup comedy show in NY, was again a great success last night at Greenwich Village Comedy Club. Thanks to all the people who came out last night and to all the comics—jes tom, tom ragu, cliff samara, tom riccobono, stephen lin, rogin kim, rich kiamco and eliot chang. I love producing my shows, exposing the asian-american talented comedians and honorary asians to the asian-american audience. Its a shame that the asian american community, not to mention the rest of america, knows only of margaret cho and russell peters when there are tons of other funny and talented asian-americans to see live at my show and at other venues. The comedians who perform on my show have been on Comedy Central, Late Show, BET and HBO Comedy Specials. Supporting them and this show (including JamminAsian and Asian-American Outlaws of Comedy) helps shatter stereotypes and misconceptions. Above all, everyone has a great time.
