Colonial Heights Police are investigating an Armed Robbery which occurred at the Circle K mart on 8/6/2014. Shortly after 3 a.m. a black male described as 6’0” approximately 190lbs wearing khaki pants and a white t-shirt entered the business located at 961 Temple Avenue. The suspect was armed with a rifle or a shotgun and demanded money from the clerk working the register. The suspect fled the business after obtaining an unknown amount of currency and lottery tickets and was last seen running towards Conduit Road. No one was injured as a result of this incident.
