Come and light my fire: Sometimes our fire has gone out or it has - TopicsExpress

Come and light my fire: Sometimes our fire has gone out or it has turned into a small Pilate light. We need the Holy Spirit and one another when this happens. Depression, discouragement, failure, rejection, frustration and despair can cause us to burn out, to get weary and to lose power. Remaining in that state too long can have long term effects. We need one another to ignite us and not criticize, give us light and not words of darkness. We are ministering flames of fire so let us light the fire in others. And the fire on the altar shall be kept burning on it; it shall not be put out. And the priest shall burn wood on it every morning, and lay the burnt offering in order on it; and he shall burn on it the fat of the peace offerings. A fire shall always be burning on the altar; it shall never go out. (Leviticus 6:12, 13 NKJV) “I came to send fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! (Luke 12:49 NKJV)Y I indeed baptize you with water unto repentance, but He who is coming after me is mightier than I, whose sandals I am not worthy to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and fire. His winnowing fan is in His hand, and He will thoroughly clean out His threshing floor, and gather His wheat into the barn; but He will burn up the chaff with unquenchable fire.” (Matthew 3:11, 12 NKJV) “ Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord, “And like a hammer that breaks the rock in pieces? (Jeremiah 23:29 NKJV) Need to be reignited when you lose your breath. We must have wind and breath. We lose our breath, we lose the wind of God. The fire of God needs to return to the pulpit.
